Our policy & ethics
All photographs at photo living world are the work of
Bill and Sally Taylor.
We resist all but minimal post-capture enhancement of our photos.
As a result, our images are a true and accurate representation of the real world. It is this approach that gives our images such originality, honesty and integrity.
Wildlife
Our wildlife images portray wild creatures in their natural environment. Every effort is made to ensure that wildlife is not distracted from their natural behaviour patterns.
We do not provide images of captive animals in our wildlife categories.
We do not photograph performing animals.
People
We photograph people only as willing subjects. Respect of the
individual is paramount. We recognise the value of personal privacy.
We strive to represent the true essence of the subject.
We endeavour to never misrepresent a person's character, actions or
intentions. We will immediately withdraw and permanently delete an
image if requested to do so by anyone identifiably featured.
Culture
Here again, respect is a fundamental consideration. We photograph cultural symbols, icons and activities with discretion in order to maintain the dignity of the occasion. We never knowingly provide images that misrepresent any cultural practice or belief.
Ethics
We strive to conduct all aspects of our work within carefully considered ethical and moral principles. Therefore, we take full responsibility for the way our photographs are obtained.
The images are provided only to those persons and organisations
who we believe will use them for purposes that do not conflict with
our own stated principles.
Privacy
Personal information provided to us by people featured in our images is strictly confidential. Personal information provided by clients is used only for contact, invoicing, payment and shipping.
It is used for no other purpose whatsoever.
